The Love to Draw project will commence at the end of September over 4 weekends with our art workshops taking place from 10a.m. - 1p.m on Saturday 26th September, 3rd October, 24th October, 31st October.

ScallionAter Project

May to October

Back in May of this year, Artist Michael Fortune began work with Take A Part Carlow to gift 150 seed-packs containing scallion seeds, badges, colouring pages etc. to homes all over Carlow. The overall project will be launched on the 22nd of October 2020 at an online event where Michael and the people involved will share films, stories and anecdotes about their involvement in the project and being a proud “Scallion Ater”!

WRITER IN RESIDENCE PROGRAMME

Take A Part Carlow’s writer in residence programme will continue working with young people from the Tullow Road area this Autumn in partnership with Carlow Regional Youth Services Book Club group. These workshops facilitated by author Clifton Redmond will take place online.

LET LOOSE DANCE

GOES ONLINE

Take A Part Carlow continues to develop the Let Loose dance project moving Sean-Nós and Hip Hop tutorials online to make it a safe activity for everyone.
