Community Play Day

We took part in the National Play Day event on the Tullow Road in summer 2017 to help us spread the word about Take A Part Carlow and also to add some fun, colour and creativity to the day. We hosted drawing workshops and circus skills workshops with the fantastic Dublin Circus Project. We handed out flyers and chatted to many members of the community about our work in the Tullow Road area and what they would like to see happening in their area for the future! Getting out and meeting community members through creative activities forms a really important part of our work with Take A Part Carlow as it allows us to remain truly a grass roots project embedded in the local community.
