Let Loose HipNós Dance Project
We launched a new dance project called “Let Loose”, made up of young people from the Tullow Road community who are passionate about creative expression and in particular dance and movement. There is a mix of styles and interests but mainly Irish dance and hip hop dance styles. We have engaged dance artists who work specifically in the area of Hip Hop and Séan Nós dance to work directly with Let Loose on this long term dance project. Our aim is that Let Loose will become an integral part of the Take A Part Carlow programme long term in a new and exploratory way fusing styles, sharing skills and having fun with a Hip-hop/Sean nós dance fusion or HipNós!
